Quality Control
Tianz Vegetables Co., Ltd applies structured quality control throughout sourcing, processing, packing, storage, and shipment. Our procedures are designed to support consistent quality across canned, dehydrated, dried, fresh, frozen, pickled, and preserved vegetables, as well as edible mushrooms, vegetable raw materials, and vegetable snacks. Inspection requirements are defined according to product specifications, customer agreements, processing methods, and applicable destination-market requirements.
1. Incoming Material Inspection
Quality control begins with the evaluation of incoming vegetables, mushrooms, ingredients, and packaging materials. Each material is checked against relevant purchasing and product specifications before it is accepted for production.
- Raw material condition: Inspectors review appearance, color, odor, maturity, cleanliness, and visible defects as appropriate for the product.
- Specification verification: Variety, size, grade, moisture condition, and other agreed characteristics are checked where applicable.
- Ingredient review: Processing ingredients and additives are verified against approved product requirements and formulation records.
- Packaging material inspection: Cans, jars, pouches, cartons, labels, and other packing components are examined for cleanliness, integrity, suitability, and correct identification.
- Lot identification: Incoming materials are recorded by lot to support traceability and production control.
2. In-Process Quality Control
Production controls are adapted to the characteristics of each product. Key processing parameters and product conditions are monitored at defined stages to help maintain safety, consistency, and conformity with specifications.
- Preparation controls: Sorting, washing, trimming, cutting, and grading are monitored to reduce foreign matter and remove unsuitable material.
- Process parameter monitoring: Time, temperature, moisture, concentration, and other relevant parameters are recorded subject to the processing method and product specification.
- Product-specific checks: Controls may cover blanching and freezing conditions, dehydration or drying performance, brine or pickling formulation, can filling and sealing, and snack seasoning consistency.
- Hygiene management: Personnel practices, equipment cleanliness, production areas, and material flow are managed through established sanitation procedures.
- In-process sampling: Samples are reviewed during production for characteristics such as color, texture, cut size, weight, taste, and overall uniformity.
3. Finished Product Inspection
Finished products are evaluated before release using internal inspection standards and agreed customer criteria. Inspection scope varies by product and may include physical, sensory, packaging, and laboratory-related checks where required.
- Appearance and sensory characteristics: Products are checked for color, shape, size, texture, aroma, flavor, and visible defects as applicable.
- Physical specifications: Relevant checks may include net weight, drained weight, piece count, moisture level, dimensions, and product uniformity.
- Container integrity: Seals, closures, cans, jars, and pouches are examined for leakage, deformation, damage, or other conditions that could affect product protection.
- Contaminant control: Appropriate screening and inspection practices are applied according to product type, process requirements, and customer specifications.
- Testing and documentation: Product testing may be arranged based on specification, risk assessment, contractual requirements, or destination-market expectations.
4. Packaging and Pre-Shipment Checks
Packaging is reviewed to confirm that products are properly protected and correctly identified for international transportation. Before shipment, the order details are compared with approved documents and packing instructions.
- Label verification: Product names, lot information, date coding, storage instructions, and other required details are checked against approved artwork and order requirements.
- Packing confirmation: Inner packaging, carton quantity, case markings, pallet configuration, and packaging condition are reviewed as applicable.
- Storage control: Products are stored under conditions appropriate to their category, including temperature-controlled handling for fresh or frozen vegetables where required.
- Shipment review: Product identity, quantity, lot details, packaging integrity, and shipping documentation are verified before dispatch.
- Loading inspection: Containers or transport vehicles may be checked for cleanliness, dryness, odor, visible damage, and suitability for the specified cargo.
5. Feedback, Corrective Action, and Continuous Improvement
Tianz Vegetables Co., Ltd treats customer feedback and internal inspection findings as practical inputs for improvement. When a nonconformity is identified, the affected material or product is evaluated and controlled to prevent unintended release. The issue is reviewed to determine contributing factors, followed by appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Relevant records, operating procedures, inspection criteria, and staff guidance are updated when necessary. Through ongoing communication among sourcing, production, quality, warehousing, and export teams, we work to improve process control and provide international buyers with clear documentation, responsive follow-up, and dependable product consistency.
